II-What are the main aspects of the intelligent services of the Asian Games transportation? What are the highlights?

III-What are the main aspects of the intelligent services of the Asian Games transportation? What are the highlights?

Back in April 2019, Geely officially signed the contract with the Asian Games Council, becoming the FIRST official partner/sponsor of the Hangzhou Asian Games. Since then Geely has mobilized the resources of the whole group and proactively participated in the preparations of the mobility solution aspect of the Asian Games. Geely hopes to utilize innovative technologies from the group to serve the Asian Games in all aspects needed.

The “Geely Future Mobility Constellation” containing 9 satellites has been launched to the space in June 2022, all carried in the same rocket. One of the satellites was named after the Asian Games as “Asian Games China Star”. It was the first time that the China National Space Administration has named a commercial satellite after and for the Asian Games. Geely hopes to utilize the spacecraft grade geo-positioning capabilities of the satellite constellation to ensure the smooth operation of mobility service.

In the ultra-complex city traffic environment, it happens every day that your location is not accurate, not updated or drifting between two buildings when using conventional public satellite navigation service. With the “Geely Future Mobility Constellation” in place, plus Geely-owned base station data network, all the different vehicles deployed in the Asian Games are equipped with high-accuracy geo-positioning capabilities, enabling the real-time display of locations of all Asian Games vehicles in the traffic monitor center. Apart from that, the cameras inside and outside the cars will be recording footages for passenger safety purpose, meeting the accuracy and safety requirement of the Hangzhou Asian Games Council.
